After Dark - Hard Men at Play: June 2010

When last we left our heavenly-bodied brawlers in this spectacular grudge match...

Jimmy's chosen to wield some pretty big threats. However, beefy Rip is unphased and unscared. He gets up - still with a grip on Jimmy's arms, lifts Jimmy to his feet, and slaps on a full nelson. Jimmy groans desperately and wiggles, writhes, moves all about but can't get out from Rip's powerful lock. Rip steals a trick from Jimmy and humiliates him by marching him in this position around the ring. Then he switches into a reverse bearhug, squeezing and ramming, tugging him up and down, and finally tossing him (with a knee to his tailbone) hard down onto the canvas.

Then, Rip goes after Jimmy's legs. A beautiful sight, especially as Jimmy bangs the canvas as he suffers, begging; "oh! Not my legs!!" Rip really gets into this. He grunts out "yeah!", spreads a sexy, evil grin across his face, and taunts; "it's your turn for some pain!" Again, Jimmy tries to fight back with an arm and Rip punishes him for it by bending it behind his back and putting on the pressure. Jimmy warns Rip; "you're gonna feel the pain!"

Then, Rip goes after Jimmy's other one with another hard boots-against-the-shoulder arm pull. As you can see, this rewards us with a great camera angle. Jimmy's free arm though is too free and Rip's bottom half is too vulnerable. Jimmy balls up his fist and rams it at Rip's thigh. He immediately lets go of Jimmy (who reels from the pain) and falls on his back with a cough and a hand between his legs.

Round 2 has not been a good one so far for heel Jimmy. Though he knew Rip would be fully recovered by the bell and hot for revenge, he tried to play off Rip's offensive stance and early advantage. No such luck, as Rip used his muscles and brawn to overpower and run-over Jimmy in hold after hold; arm pulls, leg twists, full nelson, bearhug. For 2 minutes, Rip was the bad guy. But Jimmy was able to get out of an armbar with a punch to Rip's leg. The funny thing about this kind of power dynamic is that, even though the guy on the receiving end is getting trashed, the guy dishing it out does get really tired. Twice now, being the victim has given Rip cause to explode on Jimmy. And he was only able to get on top because Jimmy was exhausted too. The guy taking it has anger on his side. And now Rip's down and Jimmy's the one standing.

The first thing Jimmy wants to do is go after Rip's face and head. After the humiliation he suffered at the starting 4 minutes of the first round, you have to wonder what Rip was thinking to even have gotten into the ring with this guy (Jimmy does have a reputation). Rip's head hasn't exactly served him well so far, and so it makes sense for Jimmy to want to try and impress a message upon it. He grabs Rip's face with one hand and his hair with the other (fingers almost clawing him on both sides) and starts yanking him around. Trying to decide whether to throw him in the ropes or nail him down to the canvas, Jimmy knees Rip in the face and sends him flying backward.

Now you know it's gonna get good! Rip tosses and turns on his sides but can't get up. Jimmy slowly, cockily approaches the jobber in a strut; "Jimmy doesn't feel pain..." He stretches his arms out in defiance, still slowly descending upon his victim, and loosely flexing as - "...He executes it, you stupid fuck!" he wails a hard kick to Rip's stomach.

He aims to prove it, too (like he hasn't already? But I'm intrigued...), as he again returns to going after Rip's throat. He grabs the top rope and presses a boot under Rip's chin and uses the ropes to push his weight down onto the jobber. Rip panics, flails all about- kicking his boots against the canvas, coughing, gagging and gasping for air. Jimmy taunts; "yeah! I like that noise! That not-being-able-to-breathe noise." Rip suffers and Jimmy just grunts at his pain like a beast, "YEAH! OH yeah!" And several of his trademark beautiful, sexy sadistic laughs.

Rip tries to wriggle out from under Jimmy's powerful foot and when he starts getting close to escaping, Jimmy sinks down in a cover, pinning Rip to the canvas, mounting Rip's arms with his knees.

Then a rollup pin. Not to get Rip to submit, just to make him cower; "like that, huh?!" But Rip is growling mad underneath him and it's not working. Jimmy gets off of Rip and tries to land one more good kick to Rip's midsection. It doesn't exactly work. Rip falls out of the hold and lays there. Jimmy is slow to take advantage of this and by the time he struts over to Rip expecting easy prey, Rip leaps to his feet and wraps Jimmy up in a hard-held headlock.
